broader, grander,
like the vistas she’s hiked through.
Her peace suffocates the room.
She is like water,
calm, smooth, and flowing,
but able to transform what’s in her pathway.
The creases in her face,
like the valley carving in genuine glee.
Her smile says it all.
Yes, it’s hard to believe.
Sometimes we can just be
