Holy Me

I want to be

I want to be pretty like the ocean,
sound like the sea.
I want to shine like the sun
and glow like the moon.

I want to dazzle like the flowers
and sparkle like the stars.
I am firm like a tree
with many arms,
grasping in every direction
to find my place and space

on this rock, on this planet,
on this place I call home.

My roots reach deep into the dirt, navigating.
My heart reaches deep into the heavens, radiating.

I want to be light like the clouds that float above me
and hot like the molten beneath my feet.

I want to be holy like the water,
holy like the mountains,
wholly me.
